As a balancing paper, its function is to even out the stresses in the lamination process and protect against deformation. This type of paper is coated with a layer of water and moisture-resistant polyethylene. It is used, for example, in window frames, floor boards and panels, and other wooden-based materials required in rooms with higher humidity levels.
The paper is produced from natural fibers of coniferous and deciduous wood, impregnated with urea-formaldehyde resin.
Available in various grammages and roll widths.
