Balancing paper with decor

The balancing paper with decor is used to balance the tension that occur when bonding laminates, veneer, lining and finish film to chipboard or MDF. It is used on the reverse or underside of a board to prevent it from deformation, e.g. the underside of the kitchen worktop. The advantage of the balancing paper with décor is that during the laminating process the paper and the board are pressed together to form a single unit which enables the laminated board to be sawn, drilled, cut, milled, varnished, stained and glued e.g. to the wall.

It does not absorb moisture or stain the shelves in the press. It can be overlapped or joined by gluing it with paper tape.

The balancing papers with décor are produced of natural coniferous and deciduous tree fibres and are impregnated with Urea-formaldehyde resin.

The papers are available in various grammages. Roll widths up to 1340mm
